I am Alexander.
I am curious about people. About what moves them, what they carry, what waits inside them. This wasn't always so obvious to me — I started out as a computer scientist, working with systems, structures, and requirements. But at some point, the real question caught up with me: What does a person need to truly be with themselves? Not in a technical sense — but in a living one.
I've been following that question ever since. From engineering into coaching, from coaching into depth. Today I work with Hakomi — a body-centered method grounded in the idea that the body knows what the mind hasn't yet found words for. This is complemented by systemic coaching, Nonviolent Communication, and energetic perception in the tradition of Rainer Strücker. It may sound like a lot — but in practice, it's usually very simple. Quiet. Present.
I still remember every moment when I was allowed to witness something genuinely shift inside someone. When a person suddenly finds contact with themselves again. When something that was constricted for a long time gets a little room to breathe. These moments still move me — every single time, as if for the first time. They are the reason I do this work.
My Approach & Way of Working
I see you as whole. Not as someone who needs to be fixed. I'm not here to tell you who you should be — but to explore together with you what is already present inside you and wants space. Meeting at eye level is not just a nice phrase to me. It is the foundation.
What we do emerges between us. Not from a plan I bring with me — but from what you bring, and from what becomes visible in the contact between us. Relationship, to me, is not a pleasant add-on. It is the space in which change first becomes possible at all. This also means: I am not the expert on your life. We are equals — two people looking together at what wants to show itself. What arises belongs to both of us.
Hakomi is my most important tool. It operates on the premise that the body doesn't lie — that it holds what the mind may have long since moved on from. What Hakomi often gives is precisely this: a genuine contact with oneself. Not as a concept, but as a tangible, felt experience.
In a session with me, you will experience being allowed to be exactly as you are right now. Everything is welcome — clarity just as much as confusion, strength just as much as whatever is currently shaky. We work with what shows up: through language, through the body, through movement, through what becomes perceptible in the contact between us.
I am an intense person who likes to go deep — but I also know that depth doesn't have to be loud. Sometimes the quietest thing is the most powerful.
"Alex has an incredible ability to help you find a deep, relaxed contact with yourself — by giving your mind and your body exactly as much space to arrive as they need in that moment."
